2023/2024 WWTA Fall/Winter League

What is Impact Team Tennis?
Impact Team Tennis consists of co-ed teams competing in a format of six 8 game no-ad pro sets. (National Qualifiers do six games per set, but locally we do eight games per set.) Senior Impact Team Tennis format will be six 6 game no-ad pro sets. Tiebreaker is played at 7 games all. One set each of men's and women's doubles followed by men's and women's singles (N/A for Super Senior), ending with 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match. Click here to view Impact Team Tennis Rules
What is a Impact Team Tennis team?
All teams must have three men and three women as a minimum, with a 14 player maximum. This allows for periods of rest and missing matches. Teams that win their division can advance to National Qualifiers and can only have 10 players maximum on their roster. Players must play in two matches to be eligible for a NQ. If there is a playoff this does count as one of the two matches.
Who can play?
Senior - Anyone who will be 50 years old by December 31, 2023.
Super Senior - Anyone who will be 60 years old by December 31, 2023.
Adult - Anyone who will be 18 years old by the start of the season (mid-November 2023).
Most current year end ratings at the start of the season are used.
When do leagues start?
Adult Winter 2023 - November 2023 through February 2024 with registration starting 9/11/23.
Sign-Up Deadline: January 31, 2024
14 players is the maximum allowed on a team. You can add players throughout the season if needed as long as your roster does not exceed 14. Please note that only 10 players are allowed on a NQ roster.
What Divisions (levels of play) are offered?
Adult - 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 - 3.5 and 4.5 teams play on Saturdays at 1:00 or 3:00, and the 3.0 and 4.0 teams play on Sundays at 1:00 or 3:00.
Determining Team Rating
The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating.
  Joe- 4.5 Mary- 3.5
  Tom- 4.5 Jill-3.5
  Bill- 4.0 Gail- 3.5
  Joe- 4.5 Mary- 3.5
  Jim- 3.5 Joan- 3.0
The best two men and two women are: 4.5 + 4.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 16. 16 divided by 4 equals 4.0.
This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women. Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women. Click here to determine your NTRP level.
Where do we play?
