What is Impact Team Tennis? |
Impact Team Tennis is co-ed teams competing in a format that consists of 6 no-ad sets. One set each of men's and women's doubles followed by men's and women's singles, ending with 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match. Click here to view Impact Team Tennis Rules. For the Friday night league, we will play 4 no-ad sets: mens and womens doubles and two lines of mixed doubles, first to 8. For one day tournaments we play, the same format, but first to 6. |

What is a Impact Team Tennis team? |
A team must have two men and two women, as a minimum. (10 players maximum). More players are preferred as this allows for periods of rest and missing matches. |

Who can play? |
Adults (18 & over) may sign up as a team. If you do not have a team, you can sign up as an individual and we will see if there is a team you can be placed on. |

When do leagues start? |

What Divisions (levels of play) are offered? |
One day Tournament on June 10 is 3.5. |

Determining Team Rating |
The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating. |

This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women.
Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women.

Where do we play? |
Matches will be played at the San Diego Tennis and Racquet Club Friday nights starting Feb. 24.. |

Can I register as an individual/substitute/team? |
You can register as an individual (we will make every effort to find an existing team for you to join in any given season), as part of a partial team (we will assign other players to complete your team), or a full team. Not all players need to participate every week, but if you sign up, please communicate with your captain your availability. No unregistered players can be substitutes on a team. |

We will not use substitute players. A player must be registered on your team or games will be forfeited. |

Why register via the Internet? |
You are not an official league participant until you have registered online. When you register via the Internet site you will be e-mailed league information during the season and your Impact Team Tennis Member Benefits (Impact Team Tennis Point of Contact Newsletter, discounts on hotel, rental cars, 2 for 1 tickets, plus more). |

What is the cost? |
One Day Tournament June 10 is $20 per player. |

League winners qualify for aRegional Championship? |
Winning teams advance to the Impact Team Tennis Regional Championship. Your team is eligible to participate in a Regional Championship for up to one year from the end date of your league.
For every four (4) teams in any official Impact Team Tennis (Impact Team Tennis) local league division, one (1) team will be eligible to participate in a Regional Championship.

Local League Information & Rules: |
Sets are first to 6, with a tie-breaker at 5-5. No singles. If you advance to a national qualifier, your team will be required to play mens and womens singles in addition to the doubles and mixed doubles. A team can qualify for national qualifier if there are at least 4 teams in the league and they win the season. |
