What is Impact Team Tennis? |
Portland Impact Team Tennis consists of co-ed teams competing in six sets - men's and women's doubles, men's and women's singles and mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match. |

What is a Impact Team Tennis team? |
A team must have a minimum of four players (two men and two women) and are allowed a maximum of 16 players. |

Who can play? |
Adults (18 & over) may participate. |
|
When do leagues start? |
Portland Impact Team Tennis begins the week after Memorial weekend and ends the week before Labor Day weekend. |
|
What Divisions (levels of play) are offered? |
Portland Impact Team Tennis offers 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 divisions. |

Determining Team Rating |
The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating. |

This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women.
Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women.

Can I register as an individual/substitute/team? |
You can register as an individual and we will try and find a team for you. |

Note to substitute players: |
A substitute player must be registered to play on the team. A substitute can play only ONCE on a team. If a substitute player plays more than once on the same team, that player becomes part of the official roster. May only have up to 2 substitute players on team roster. |

Why register via the Internet? |
You are not an official league participant until you have registered online. When you register via the Internet site you will be e-mailed league information during the season and your Impact Team Tennis Member Benefits (Impact Team Tennis Point of Contact Newsletter, discounts on hotel, rental cars, 2 for 1 tickets, plus more). |

What is the cost? |
$425 for 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 teams.
$325 for 4.5 teams. |
|
League winners qualify for aRegional Championship? |
Winning teams advance to the Impact Team Tennis Regional Championship. Your team is eligible to participate in a Regional Championship for up to one year from the end date of your league.
For every four (4) teams in any official Impact Team Tennis (Impact Team Tennis) local league division, one (1) team will be eligible to participate in a Regional Championship.

Local League Information & Rules: |
Portland Impact Team Tennis complies with Impact Team Tennis National Qualifier rules as long as the team meets REQUIREMENTS FOR LEVEL OF PLAY.
Exception: Portland Impact Team Tennis plays 8 games instead of 6 with tiebreak at 7 all. Home team reports scores online.
Matches may be rescheduled due to weather.
