2022/2023 Tulsa Winter League

What is Impact Team Tennis?
Impact Team Tennis is co-ed teams competing in a format that consists of 6 no-ad sets. One set each of men's and women's doubles followed by men's and women's singles, ending with 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match. Click here to view Impact Team Tennis Rules

What is a Impact Team Tennis team?
A team must have two men and two women, as a minimum. Teams can have as many players as desired, however keep in mind that if your team does advance to a National Qualifier, only 10 players can attend. The 10 players that attend have to have played in a least 2 local league matches.

Who can play?
Adults 18* years of age may sign up. Each participant must be a registered Impact Team Tennis member. *If your team advances to a National Qualifier all participants must be at least 18 years of age prior to the start of the National Qualifier.

If a Player does not have a current NTRP Rating, they will need to complete the Self-Rating Questionnaire before they play in a match. Go to Tennislink.usta.com, then Leagues, then click the "Self-Rate" button under "Find NTRP Rating Info."

When do leagues start?
Play begins December 2nd, 2022 and continues through February 26, 2023. Depending on the size of your division, we may go into March.

Sign-Up Deadline: BEFORE they play in a match!
All players must be registered BEFORE they play their first match.

What Divisions (levels of play) are offered?
The levels of play being offered are 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5. I will need at least 4 teams in each division for each league to make.

Determining Team Rating
The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating.

       Example:
  Joe- 4.5 Mary- 3.5
  Tom- 4.5 Jill-3.5
  Bill- 4.0 Gail- 3.5
  Joe- 4.5 Mary- 3.5
  Jim- 3.5 Joan- 3.0

The best two men and two women are: 4.5 + 4.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 16. 16 divided by 4 equals 4.0.

This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women. Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women. Click here to determine your NTRP level.
