Determining Team Rating |
The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating. |
Example: |
Joe- 4.5 |
Mary- 3.5 |
Tom- 4.5 |
Jill-3.5 |
Bill- 4.0 |
Gail- 3.5 |
Joe- 4.5 |
Mary- 3.5 |
Jim- 3.5 |
Joan- 3.0 |
The best two men and two women are: 4.5 + 4.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 16. 16 divided by 4 equals 4.0. |

Can I register as an individual/substitute/team? |
You can register as an individual (we will make every effort to find an existing team for you to join in any given season), as part of a partial team ( we will assign other players to complete your team), or a full team. If you cannot commit to the entire season, we will place you on a substitute list. You will be called or emailed by the league coordinator or a team captain in the event they need a replacement player. |
Note to substitute players: |
Substitutes do not have to pay for the league at this time. You must register, however, and your playing is subject to the decision/judgment of the League Director who will independently assess your NTRP rating. Non-registered substitutes will not be covered under the Impact Team Tennis liability policy. Scoring in matches for Captains who utilize non-registered substitute players will be the same as a default. All sets in which the non-registered sub plays in will receive a 0 score, or default. Captains continuing to use non-registered subs may be removed from captaincy. |
