2023-2024 Season
FRIDAY NIGHT TENNIS (FNT) at Georgetown Prep Tennis Club
is looking for members for the 2023-2024 season.
• We rent - 1 har-tru (clay)court – You PLAY every other Friday night(15 weeks), 6:30PM To 8:30 pm(Note: Only if we receive enough players(8) to pay for the court hours if not you will be issued a refund on 10/6/23), from
October 6, 2023 until April 27, 2024 based on 8 players.
Tennis balls will be provided.
• You are obligated to play for fifteen weeks out of 30 weeks per the schedule,
• The price for membership for the 2023-2024 season will be $540 which includes no membership fees by the final deadline on 3/14, 2023;
• Payment for the total must be made with this application OR online
• You can split one membership with one other player if you like.
• Rules for split memberships: You CANNOT play on the same night as the person with whom you are splitting your share. That means you must coordinate your 15-week dates with the person with whom you are splitting. If you do not have someone to split a membership with, you will be partnered with another player who is splitting a membership to coordinate your playing dates only if available.
• If you cannot attend on a particular Friday Night, you CANNOT ask someone to substitute.
• The cost to be a substitute is $36 per night if needed; Substitutes must pre-pay for five matches at $180 (via paypal $190). Payment is due the Thursday night by midnight via Paypal using this email richgott@erols.com
If you do not play the 5 dates then you will be issued a refund for the unused payments made. You will be notified as soon as I know that we need to find a sub.
• NO Refunds including long-term medical illness or injury. YOU are responsible for obtaining another player to BUY OUT your membership!
• Level of play: Intermediate (3.0 to 3.5) or Advanced ( 3.5 to 4.0)

RAPID SOCIAL DOUBLES TENNIS LEAGUE PLAY
WHERE: Georgetown Prep Tennis Club
When: Friday nights Time: 6:30pm to 7:30pm or 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Need a doubles partner? : Preseason draft sessions: 11/25/22, or 12/23/22 or 12/30/22
For individual players looking for a tennis partner to play in the league. Note: Individuals must register and pay for the league and preseason before playing
Match Format: Round Robin Winning team in each division receives an award
Each match consists of playing a 10-game pro set with the tiebreaker at 9 games all.Tiebreak is at 9 points first team to five points win by 1 point.. No-ad scoring. Matches are timed at one hour with a ten minute warmup.
Divisions: Maximum four divisions consisting of four doubles team in each division.
Match play: Each team plays 3 matches over a 12 week season which runs from February 3, 2023 to April 21, 2023.
Divisions offered: Combo 5.5 (2.5/2.5 or 2.5/3.0), 6.5 (3.0/3.0 or 3.5/3.0), 7.5 (3.5/3.5 or 4.0/3.5), 8.5 ( 4.0/4.0 or 4.5/4.0)
Players may play in multiple divisions: men and mixed doubles or women and mixed doubles. Note if a division has less than 4 teams at a level, then the divisions maybe combined by division( men, women or mixed).
League Fee: Doubles team: $120 per team or
For Individual player: $60 per individual
Preseason fee: $20 per individual plus league fee.
Deadline: Until filled. For preseason ASAP. For the regular season 1/13/23 or until filled.

| The levels of play being offered are (3.0, 3.5) and (3.5 to 4.0) |

| Determining Team Rating |
| The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating. |

| Why register via the Internet? |
| You are not an official league participant until you have registered online. | League winners qualify for aRegional Championship? |
| Winning teams advance to the Impact Team Tennis Regional Championship. Your team is eligible to participate in a Regional Championship for up to one year from the end date of your league.
For every four (4) teams in any official Impact Team Tennis (Impact Team Tennis) local league division, one (1) team will be eligible to participate in a Regional Championship.
