| What is Impact Team Tennis? |
| Impact Team Tennis is co-ed teams competing in a format that consists of 6 no-ad sets. One set each of men's and women's doubles followed by men's and women's singles, ending with 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. | What is a Impact Team Tennis team? |
| A team must have a minimum of two men and two women. There is no maximum number of players to play locally however the maximum number of players that can move on to the National Qualifiers is 10. |

| Who can play? |
| Adults (18 & over) may sign up as a team or as an individual. |
| |
| When do leagues start? |
| Play begins in January 2023 and continues until March 2023. Playoff dates are to be determined. |

| Sign-Up Deadline: 02/15/2023 |
| All court time money is due by this date. There are no refunds on court time or registration fees after the season starts. |
| |
| What Divisions (levels of play) are offered? |
| The levels of play being offered are 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0. |
| |
| Determining Team Rating |
| The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating. |

| The best two men and two women are: 4.5 + 4.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 16. 16 divided by 4 equals 4.0. |

| This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women.
Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women.

| Where do we play? |
Matches will be played at the following locations:
Manhattan Plaza Racquet Club
Roosevelt Island Racquet Club
Sportime Randall's Island

| Can I register as an individual/substitute/team? |
| You can register as an individual (we will make every effort to find an existing team for you to join), as part of a partial team (we will assign other players to complete your team), or a full team. If you cannot commit to the entire season, we will place you on a substitute list. You will be called by the league or a team captain in the event they need a replacement player. |

| Note to substitute players: |
Substitutes pay the $25 registration fee. Match fee payments are at the discretion of the Captain.
If you play for a team twice, you will be added to their roster and can no longer substitute for other teams. |

| Why register via the Internet? |
| You are not an official league participant until you have registered online. When you register via the Internet site you will be e-mailed league information during the season and your Impact Team Tennis Member Benefits (Impact Team Tennis Point of Contact Newsletter, discounts on hotel, rental cars, 2 for 1 tickets, plus more). |

| What is the cost? |
| League fees are $1300.00 per team per season for 8 matches. Fees are paid on Metrotennis.com website. The captain can determine how much each player pays. |

| League winners qualify for aRegional Championship? |
| Winning teams advance to the Impact Team Tennis Regional Championship. Your team is eligible to participate in a Regional Championship for up to one year from the end date of your league.
For every four (4) teams in any official Impact Team Tennis (Impact Team Tennis) local league division, one (1) team will be eligible to participate in a Regional Championship.

| Local League Information & Rules: |
Metrotennis REC League follows all of the Impact Team Tennis rules except:
No team maximum number of players. Teams may add as many players as they like. Players may register up until the time of the match. There is no deadline on registration.
Local playoffs - all players must have played one match during the season. The team that advances to the National Qualifiers will be restricted to 10 players, per national Impact Team Tennis rules. |
