What is Impact Team Tennis? |
Impact Team Tennis is co-ed teams competing in a format that consists of 6 no-ad sets. One set each men's and women's doubles, men's and women's singles, and 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match. San Diego leagues play 8 game, no ad sets, with tiebreak at 7 all.

What is a Impact Team Tennis team? |
A team consists of three men and three women, (maximum of 10 players per team, exceptions to be approved by league director). |

Who can play? |
Adults (18 & over) may register on a team or as an individual. |
|
When do leagues start? |
Spring league matches played Februry-May 2022, depending on number of teams in each level. Team schedules available online, clubs will be notified for court reservations but should be verified by team captains. |

Sign-Up Deadline: Captains register by Feb. 2nd. |
Captains register with team name, receive approved, then players may register for team.
Please pay $25.00 fee upon registration and you will be added to team roster.

What Divisions (levels of play) are offered? |
The levels of play are 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 and above.
Players MUST use current USTA rating, Check your USTA year end ratings prior registration). Self ratings are acceptable but must meet NTRP guidelines and NEW REQUIREMENTS for players in multiple divisions.
All self-rated players must complete a questionnaire each season. |

Determining Team Rating |
The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating. |

This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women.
Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is three men and three women.

Matches will be played at various locations.

Can I register as an individual/substitute/team? |
Individual players register and every effort will be made to find a team for you. Please list your current rating, preferred location, and team you may be interested in. Impact Team Tennis uses year-end USTA ratings. ALL ratings will be verified (USTA and Self-ratings). |

Note to substitute players: |
San Diego leagues DO NOT use substitute players. A player must be registered to play for your team. When you self-rate, your rating is subject to the decision/judgment of the League Director who will independently assess your rating, especially if you play two divisions for one year or more. |

Why register via the Internet? |
You are not an official league participant until you have registered online. When you register via the Internet site you will be e-mailed league information during the season and your Impact Team Tennis Member Benefits (Impact Team Tennis Point of Contact Newsletter, discounts on hotel, rental cars, 2 for 1 tickets, plus more). |

What is the cost? |
Team Entry fee $25.00 (paid by captain). Individual players $25.00 per person. If payment is not received prior to match start date, players will be removed from team rosters. |

League winners qualify for aRegional Championship? |
Winning teams advance to the Impact Team Tennis Regional Championship. Your team is eligible to participate in a Regional Championship for up to one year from the end date of your league.
For every four (4) teams in any official Impact Team Tennis (Impact Team Tennis) local league division, one (1) team will be eligible to participate in a Regional Championship.

Local League Information & Rules: |
San Diego leagues comply with Impact Team Tennis National rules whereas any player may play any position as long as the team meets requirements for level of play. San Diego leagues also play an 8 game set instead of 6 as listed on scorecard. Home team reports scores online but opponents may check scores and notify if discrepancies are found. Captains keep scoresheets in case verification is required by Impact Team Tennis. |
